Park West is a concert and event hall at 322 W. Armitage Ave. in Lincoln Park, near Clark Street and the south end of the zoo. It is operated by JAM Productions and hosts touring music and comedy, plus private and corporate events.
What it’s known for
The building opened in 1916 as a movie and vaudeville house and became a live concert hall in the late 1970s. Its diamond-shaped interior is unusual among Chicago theaters, and JAM notes that many artists who played the room went on to arenas and stadiums.
Today the calendar mixes music, comedy and special events, and the room doubles as a multimedia space for meetings and private parties.
