Piccadilly Market is a European-style market, café and bar at 444 W. Fullerton Pkwy., at the corner of Clark Street and Fullerton Parkway in east Lincoln Park. It opened in September 2026 in the former Emilio’s Tapas space as the flagship of the Piccadilly Market brand, whose first location opened in Lincoln Square in 2025. Big Apple Finer Foods is a block south on Clark.
What it’s known for
Chicago Food Magazine reported that the 5,200-square-foot space includes a market, an all-day café, a bar, an upstairs lounge and an 80-person outdoor courtyard called Piccadilly Square. Owner Aaron Zacharias also runs The Bar on Buena and The Northman Beer & Cider Garden. The market sells European grocery imports, including Zotter chocolate, and goods from Chicago businesses such as Pretty Cool Ice Cream, Rare Tea Cellar and Publican Quality Bread. It also has rotating cheese and charcuterie for retail.
Chef Mark Mendez, formerly of the West Loop restaurant Vera, leads the café. Its menu includes house-made English muffins, breakfast sandwiches, hot “Toasties,” cold “Picca-Delis,” focaccia and Roman-style pizza. A sommelier-curated wine shop sells bottles to take home or drink on site, and it runs a monthly club and weekly tastings. The bar has eight draft lines, classic cocktails and coffee cocktails made with Metric Coffee.
