Juno is a Japanese sushi restaurant at 2638 N. Lincoln Ave., at Kenmore Avenue in Lincoln Park, near Wrightwood Avenue. Executive chef and owner BK Park, previously of Arami, opened it in June 2013 with restaurateur Jason Chan. The CTA Diversey (Brown, Purple) and Fullerton (Red, Brown, Purple) stations are both nearby.
What it’s known for
The restaurant serves traditional and modern sushi, with a large sashimi and nigiri selection and premium sake. Its best-known special is smoked sashimi, served on a wooden platter under a glass dome filled with applewood smoke, which Chicagoist described when Juno opened. The Infatuation’s Lincoln Park guide (July 2026) recommends the simple sashimi and nigiri plus at least one smoked special.
The omakase is a chef’s tasting of about 20 bite-size courses, including sashimi, appetizers, warm plates, nigiri and dessert. Time Out Chicago’s 2014 review, written after Juno reopened following a fire, describes a front bar and a back dining room with a sushi bar.
