Lincoln Park High School is the CPS neighborhood high school at 2001 N Orchard St, serving grades 9–12 with 2,108 students listed on its CPS profile in October 2026. It serves students from its attendance area and runs citywide application programs.
CPS calls it an “IB for All” school offering the IB Diploma, IB Middle Years and IB Career programs, plus magnet programs in Visual Arts and Performing Arts (theatre, instrumental music and vocal music), Advanced College Prep (formerly Honors/Double Honors) and a Significantly Modified Curriculum program with moderate supports. The high school grades of EFAC, the French-American program, also meet here.
Admissions: students living in the attendance area are guaranteed a seat through a Guaranteed Offer application and can enroll directly with proof of residency. Advanced College Prep and IB are points-based and use the High School Admissions Test and 7th-grade marks (attendance-area applicants get 35 bonus points for IB); the arts programs use auditions or portfolios. Apply through GoCPS. In the previous cycle IB had 3,144 applicants and Advanced College Prep 3,454, with 500 offers each.
The CPS profile showed an accountability status of “Good Standing” as of October 2026. Test results, enrollment detail and the state summative designation are published on the Illinois Report Card. See the CPS school profile for current programs and admissions, and our Lincoln Park schools guide for how attendance areas and GoCPS work.
