North Avenue Beach is Lincoln Park’s official Chicago Park District beach, at 1601 N. DuSable Lake Shore Dr. at the lake end of North Avenue.
Its ocean-liner-shaped beach house holds Castaways bar, and the beach has volleyball, rentals and daily beach yoga in season. Lifeguards are on duty 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. during the summer season. It is the main viewing hub for the Chicago Air & Water Show each August.
