Beck’s is a sports bar and grill at 2201 N Clybourn Ave in Lincoln Park, at the corner of Webster Avenue and two doors from Pequod’s Pizza. It comes from the group behind Toons Bar & Grill and has a Kansas City streak: Chiefs games play with the sound on, and the bar hosts Texas Tech alumni watch parties.
The kitchen is known for wings, in flavors such as buffalo, garlic parmesan, mango habanero, sticky Korean and jerk, and for burgers including the Beck’s Burger, a KC burger, a patty melt and a plant-based Beyond burger. The bar says CBS News Chicago named its wings the best in the city.
Beyond game days, Beck’s runs trivia on Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m., monthly bingo and an annual chili cook-off each February. Happy hour runs Monday through Thursday, 4 to 6 p.m., with half-price appetizers. A seated back room and an outdoor patio host private events for up to 50 people, with full buyouts for larger groups.
Good to know: Beck’s opens at 3 p.m. on Mondays and 11 a.m. the rest of the week. Delivery is through Uber Eats and Grubhub, or call for pickup.
