Mon Ami Gabi is a French bistro at 2300 N. Lincoln Park West, on the ground floor of the historic Belden-Stratford building. It has been part of the neighborhood since 1998 and serves dinner nightly and brunch on Sundays.
What it’s known for
The kitchen, led by executive chef David Koehn, serves French bistro classics alongside fresh takes on older favorites. Menu items featured on the restaurant’s site include escargot de Bourgogne, deviled eggs and almond raspberry macarons, with Scallops Rockefeller and boeuf bourguignon on the fall menu and a Chicago-style country pâté offered as a limited-time special.
The Belden-Stratford sits on Lincoln Park West, the street along the western edge of the park, and the restaurant’s weekday happy hour moves out to the patio when the weather allows.
