S.K.Y. is chef Stephen Gillanders’ restaurant at 2300 N. Lincoln Park West, at Belden Avenue across from the park, in the same building as Mon Ami Gabi. The restaurant previously operated in Pilsen before moving to Lincoln Park.
What it’s known for
The restaurant describes its food as contemporary American cuisine with global influences, drawn from Gillanders’ travels and built on seasonal, local ingredients. OpenTable lists the setting as casual elegant and describes an industrial-chic dining room.
Beyond dinner, S.K.Y. serves weekend brunch and runs “The Belden Hour” in its bar, lounge and patio area. The website also links to Le Mistral, a speakeasy operated alongside the restaurant.
