Schneider Deli is a counter-service Jewish delicatessen on Halsted Street in Lincoln Park from husband-and-wife owners Jake and Ariel Schneider, who started the deli in 2023 inside River North’s Ohio House Motel. The Lincoln Park location opened April 1, 2026.
Time Out reports the roughly 1,750-square-foot space seats more than 40 and adds a full coffee and espresso bar using Metropolis Coffee, plus egg creams. The menu includes house-cured fish, latkes, matzo ball soup, stacked bagel sandwiches and a Hot Reuben, with a grab-and-go case of knishes and kugel. It is open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
