Sports bars
Lincoln Park has no shortage of places to watch a game. These are the ones with the most screens, the biggest patios or a team they are known for.
- Parlay Lincoln Park (950 W. Wrightwood Ave.) shows every NFL game on 28 TVs under a four-season retractable roof, so it works in January as well as July. The patio is pet-friendly, with Pups on the Patio nights, and the bar runs Monday Night Football deals, a Tuesday-through-Thursday happy hour and brunch. Tables can be reserved through Tock.
- Beck’s (2201 N. Clybourn Ave.) sits at Webster Avenue, two doors from Pequod’s Pizza. It has a Kansas City streak (Chiefs games play with the sound on) and is known for wings in flavors from buffalo to sticky Korean and jerk. Happy hour is Monday through Thursday, 4 to 6 p.m., with half-price appetizers, and Wednesday trivia starts at 7:30 p.m.
- Broken Barrel Bar (2548 N. Southport Ave.) smokes its wings over oak before frying them and makes most of the menu from scratch. It has three indoor rooms and a patio, each with its own bar and TVs, and Time Out notes it fills up on game days with DePaul students, recent grads and neighborhood regulars. Reservations are on Resy.
- Gaslight (2450 N. Clark St.) is a neighborhood sports bar just north of Fullerton with three full bars and a patio that stays open year-round. It opens at 10 a.m. on weekends for brunch and late afternoon on weekdays.
- Willie Lill’s Spirits & Kitchen (433 W. Diversey Pkwy.) is a Southern-themed sports bar with a large whiskey and agave list. It calls itself Chicago’s top Iowa Hawkeyes bar and a home for Green Bay fans, and fills the week with bingo, trivia, karaoke and live music.
- Lincoln Station (2432 N. Lincoln Ave.) reopened in April 2026, more than two years after a November 2023 fire that took the life of Chicago firefighter Andrew Price, and the rebuilt bar includes tributes to him. It is the city’s home for Buffalo Bills and Sabres fans, with wings, two pool tables rented by the hour and a steel-tip dartboard. Its website and OpenTable list different hours, so check before you go.
- Prost! (2566 N. Lincoln Ave.) is a German beer hall that also works as a sports bar: imported German beers in oversized steins, a giant pretzel with beer cheese, schnitzel and sausage boards, and about 15 TVs that show football and soccer. Its long wooden booths and communal tables make it a good pick for a group.
Pubs and beer bars
- Armitage Alehouse (1000 W. Armitage Ave.) is a Hogsalt Hospitality pub (the group behind Au Cheval) next to the Armitage L station. The room is styled after a 1920s London pub, with a wood-burning fireplace, and the menu pairs pub classics such as fish and chips with Indian-influenced dishes like chicken tikka masala and stone-fired naan. Reservations open on Resy at 9 a.m. daily and go quickly; weeknights are the easiest time to walk in.
- The Albion Manor (1480 W. Webster Ave.) is a two-level English pub at Webster and Dominick. Downstairs serves British-inspired food, including fish and chips, and opens early for televised sports; upstairs, The Parlour pours cocktails Thursday through Saturday evenings and hosts ticketed burlesque and variety shows. Small groups can reserve a snug.
- Local Option (1102 W. Webster Ave.) is a long, narrow craft beer bar on a residential block, with about two dozen rotating taps (posted on Untappd), a New Orleans-style kitchen serving po’ boys and gumbo, pinball and a stereo that leans toward metal. It opens in the evening Wednesday through Sunday.
Wine bars
All three are on Lincoln Avenue, close enough to visit in one evening.
- Verve Wine (2349 N. Lincoln Ave.) is a wine shop and wine bar in the Lincoln Common development, founded by Master Sommelier Dustin Wilson. The bar pours a long list by the glass with small plates such as oysters and mussels, and you can buy a bottle from the shelves to take home.
- Regions Wine Cellar (2505 N. Lincoln Ave.) opened in August 2026 as a neighborhood wine bar and bottle shop with light snacks. It was one of the stops on the Lincoln Park Uncorked wine stroll in September.
- Lolo y Lola (2580 N. Lincoln Ave.) is a 22-seat Spanish pintxos bar next door to its sister restaurant, Beatnik. Expect Spanish and Portuguese wines, sherry, vermouth and Estrella Galicia on tap, with gildas, patatas bravas and jamón ibérico. It is walk-in only and closed on Mondays.
Live music, karaoke and games
- Kingston Mines (2548 N. Halsted St.) has been open since 1968 and calls itself the largest and oldest continuously operating blues club in Chicago. It has two stages, and Doc’s Kitchen in back serves catfish, gumbo and red beans and rice. As of October 2026 it is open Thursday through Sunday, until 4 a.m. on Friday and Saturday, with a $15 cover on Thursday and $20 on Friday and Saturday. It is 21 and over.
- Brando’s Lincoln Park (2265 N. Lincoln Ave.) is a karaoke bar and cocktail lounge with on-demand song requests from a library of more than 300,000 tracks, plus private rooms for groups.
- Replay Lincoln Park (2833 N. Sheffield Ave.) is an arcade bar with free-to-play vintage arcade games and pinball, no cover and free trivia nights. It is known for themed pop-ups that take over the bar for weeks. Note that it sits just north of Diversey, on the Lakeview side of the neighborhood line.

Rooftop: The J. Parker
The J. Parker (1816 N. Clark St.) is on the 13th floor of Hotel Lincoln, looking out over the park, Lake Michigan and the downtown skyline. A retractable roof added in 2015 lets the terrace stay open in bad weather. The menu is built around small plates, and DJs play on weekends. Seating is first come, first served, with reservations through OpenTable. For more outdoor drinking, see our patios and rooftops guide.
