Osteria Gilberto is a modern Italian osteria at Webster and Magnolia avenues in Lincoln Park, inspired by Tuscany and named for Gilberto, a man born in Livorno. The menu centers on handmade pasta, backed by an Italian wine list, aperitivi and classic cocktails.
The restaurant opened in 2026 in the former Derby Bar & Grill space; WhatNow reported that it comes from Sergio Barbone, owner of Bakehouse Chicago. The Infatuation highlights spaghetti pomodoro, lasagna, short rib tagliatelle and a bone-in veal parmigiana. It serves dinner nightly, with midday openings on weekends.
